Please note that Island Pathways Heritage Map with Bike Routes is out of print and retired. However, ….
WE’RE MAKING A NEW CYCLING ROAD MAP TO SERVE THOSE ON BICYCLES, DRIVING, AND USING MOBILITY DEVICES IN THE GANGES VILLAGE AREA. Look for it by later 2018 or early 2019.
In the meantime, Island Pathways is nearly ready to publish its new walking & hiking map of Salt Spring Island. It has all of the public paths and trails. There’ll be a link from here to its own webpage as soon as it’s available. The launch will be soon, so stay tuned.
Poster versions of our old Heritage Map with Bike Routes, as well as the Ganges Village Pathway Network, remain on public display by the Visitors’ Centre in Ganges, on Lower Ganges Road at Norton Road, at the entrance to the Rainbow Road pool, at the head of Ganges Harbour (with natural history and First Nations’ history interpretive panels), at the Long Harbour and Vesuvius Bay ferry terminals, outside Rock Salt restaurant in Fulford, and on all ferries serving Salt Spring Island.
Special thanks to the Island Pathways members, Donald McLennan, Ian Fraser, and Rob Denny, who built the kiosks.
