- Salt Spring Island Bicycle Working Group - We are a community group dedicated to encouraging more and safer cycling on Salt Spring Island, for both recreation and transportation. The SSI Transportation Commission supported the group's creation, to help fulfill the commission's cycling mandate. We are now a committee of Island Pathways, which has been improving pedestrian and cycling opportunities on island since 1988.
